Yesterday, Noel and I decided to make homemade granola while it was Hope's morning nap time.
It was such a gorgeous day, we had the windows open and our ingredients lined up...still in our pj's, ready to smell the honey goodness baking in the oven.
We simply followed this recipe from 100 Days of Real Food, which called for no added sugars or artificial ingredients. We did add 1/2 cup organic raisins to the recipe, and it was delicious.
(note: We used steel-cut oats....and yes, it does call for unsweetened coconut, but the end result has no "coco-nutty" flavor to it at all. We also left out sunflower seeds)
